Iridology

Did you know that Dr. Lisa has her Master's in Iridology?

Iridology is the study of colors and patterns in the iris and surrounding parts of the eye. These findings correlate to different organs, diseases, and health issues.

*****If you would like your horses (dog, cat, farm animal) iris to be evaluated here is what you do....

1.) Send a quality picture of each eye (examples below) to divergentdvm@aol.com with the following in the email;

Your name, phone number, email, address, animals name, breed, sex, species, age, and what is their job?

2.) If the pictures are high enough quality Dr. Lisa will evaluate the eye and will send you back a report about what she is seeing. If not she will work with you to obtain better images.

3.) A reading is $100 per animal. Dr. Lisa will send an invoice via PayPal and you will receive your report within 90 days from reciept of payment. Each animal is different therefore each report is different based solely on individual iris markings.

4.) The higher definition the picture the more information available. Please include the entire eye as the white of the eye and surrounding tissue can be read as well.

Iridology is NOT a sole diagnostic tool although there are many scientific studies out on the efficacy of computer read Iridology images in regards to kidney disease, liver disease, and other chronic disease states. This is not meant to be in lieu of having your own veterinarian or Dr. Lisa come out and work with your animal in person. This is meant to be guidance in areas to look for issues. We do not DIAGNOSE with Iridology, it is a map that can lead us in a direction and then we must use other diagnostics from there.

Here is a good video on obtaining a good quality photo;

On The Divergent DVM Facebook page there are some examples but make sure to get the WHOLE eye, make sure that you can visualize definition within the iris or colored portion of the eye, and watch for reflection in the eye itself. Any questions? Send Dr. Lisa a message!!
